It's all over. The laws are not stringent enough. I'm in NJ and they are stick frigging around with that Kisha Curtis, who left Patrick the Pitbull tied to a railing and starved. This has been since March and she still has not been convicted. The SPCA's hands are almost tied and they are at the mercy of the courts who seem to do nothing. Laws need to change surrounding a lot of areas involving animal protection. They still have gas chambers for God's sake and saddly enough the American Vet Association reccomends them for Euthanization. Sometimes it feels like our whole country is going to pot. I hate to open my FB sometimes becuause each day I do there has to be another half dozen abuse cases posted. The Yorkie hit hard, I'm sure for all of us, but the Pitbull is even worse. It's sickening the abuse they sustain. Daily I get post after post with this breed being abused. I know many don't like the Pit but it's not the breed, it's who is allowed to own them. I really hope this Yorkie recovers and gets a nice home where she's is loved. Just makes me so mad to see these animals being treated this way.
