Another alternative is a special car harness that hooks up to the seat buckles. The only downside is that it is not as easy or fast as hooking up a tether from a car seat to the harness your dog is probably already wearing when you go in the car. Not sure if the car harness allows enough room lie down either. PetSmart sells them though. |
Yeah to strap him in with a harness, he'd probably not be able to lay down, and the car stresses him out so I try to make it easy on him. He is very well behaved just likes to lay there and wait til the ride is over, unless we go through the mcdonald's drive thru, then he is climbing all over me haha
The snoozer looks like it'd work if it does sit low. Can I put that on my passenger seat? He doesn't like to go in the backseat cause he can't be next to me.
