They are more like 'perpetual toddlers' and less like dogs. They are cute, playful, loving, devoted and often cutely ferocious little snuggle-buddies, and are smart, funny, and impish. They love people and want to make you happy. They know what you're thinking just before you do, and it is rare you get to put one over on them! Like other dogs, they are 'ready' and horribly disapointed and sad if they can't go with you because they are so human-like. Just when you think you've figured them out, you find out you were wrong!

And that is how I've taken over 600 photos of Mia and Brody since October and missed hundreds of other shots...too slow at grabbing the camera/cellphone.
I've had lots of dogs and cats, but there are major differences in big dogs and little dogs. My husband never had little dogs before, and he did not understand the 'draw' a Yorkie has on you before we got Brody. Now, we have Mia, also, and he does understand...boy, does he! He's wrapped at tight to those babies as to our granddaughter!
