I think I'll just take him in next week to the vet and ask for recommendations. I appreciate all the advice but I'd rather not spend a lot of money on products that might not work
. I wondered mainly if any of you had experienced the same with your travels and what the outcome was. I don't see the situation changing for at least 5 years and I don't want him to terrified every time we get in the car.
We still have another trip to make to get to my regular vet. My sister has one locally that I could go to in case of emergency and I carry his vet records with me. Her vet wouldn't sell me a single flea/heartworm dose when I'd forgotten his without doing a test on him. I do understand why she wouldn't, so now I keep that information with me.
