Soccer balls-$1.99 at Petsmart (they are the small ones).
I taught Simon "drop it" but it took a long time. For awhile I would get up and walk away if he kept it in his mouth and he finally started spitting it at me and figured it out. But he also likes to play tug with it so he will drop it, then snatch it up really fast then finally drop it for me to throw. He lives for that ball, I have about 20 new ones in the closet so we never run out
