Chicken is the #1 allergen in small dogs... even if they've eaten it all their lives they can become allergic to it. Grains is up there on the list... around 3rd or 4th I think.
If she's raw, meaning open wound... she'll need an antibiotic ointment from your vet, maybe even oral antibiotics.
I would also treat her with Revolution... if it helps her then you will know it's not a food allergy. Sometimes itching is caused by fleas, a flea allergy, or even mites, and Revolution handles these. |
