I'm only asking because Harry is as quiet as a mouse in the car - every single day apart from Thursdays!!! 
I've realised that it's actually anticipation - I'll have taken my mum for coffee (all quiet) then grocery shopping (again, all quiet) - but then it'll be on the drive home towards her house that all hell breaks loose. There is absolutely nothing I can do to quieten him down.
He knows that once he gets there and the shopping's in - he'll have his walk, have his lunch, and then run in the garden. They are so clever - built in sat-navs and creatures of habit - I wonder if this might have anything to do with your problem?  Sally + Harry x |
It's the same destination every Friday. From one home to another. It's 5 hours, he gets a short walk every 2 hours and then a run around outside when we arrive. Water is available to him the entire trip but he doesn't drink it. This has been our regular routine since March of 2010. The trembling and panting has recently become an issue. The only time he doesn't do it is when he's in my lap and I find that to be a safety issue and I don't allow it.
