Me, too - there's always been 'a dog around'.
I think their very size adds to how we feel about them (even though Harry's a big boy). And as tough and rough and outgoing as he is - he has an air of vulnerability about him which breaks my heart sometimes, even if there's nothing to worry about

That sounds a bit nuts - but you know what I mean?
The way they do their little quirky things is
so appealing - when I'm packing my bag ready to go out, Harry jumps on the top of the armchair, right next to it - I'm sure he'd get in too if it was big enough

. They do get right into your heart and soul
