The CKC will register anything and it's considered a paper registry. Of course I'm talking about the Continental Kennel Club. A reputable breeder would want to know if you were a suitable parent, but obviously she doesn't check that part out. So glad that little Bear found a great home though. I wouldn't really keep in contact with her, I don't think she'll tell you the truth about much.

Nancy I agree with much about what you said. But let the owner formally let the breeder know of health concerns. Even if you think it is just pissing in the wind.
