I know how scary this can be, Alexis is 1lb 12 oz at one year. She was spayed at 8 months and about the same size she is now maybe a little smaller. My vet did all the pre testing and felt confident that all would be well, she also had 12 teeth removed. She did great, better than her sister who is 5.5lbs. She bounced back very fast, I had a hard time getting her to rest. I think as long as you have a great vet and take all the precautions, your baby will be fine. My Sofia was 2.5 lbs when she was spayed and she did great as well. My advice to you though is make yourself very busy the day of the surgery, so that you will be distracted. I went shopping and bought a ton of new things to spoil my girls. After all they deserve it. Good luck.
