I think a good breeder would keep in contact to see if there are any questions and to to make sure everything is going ok with the puppy. It is my belief that a good breeder that remains in contact and does their best to screen potential owners there are always those that can slip between the cracks that can be good at bringing themselves off as being someone that makes you feel good about what is going on.

Just like we assume we have a person that is a friend and our radar isn't quite in tune because they know how to get around it and we find out later that they were not the person we though they were.
