Default *UPDATE* Spoke to surgeon

I spoke to our vet about an hour ago, who is an orthopedic surgeon, about our options. He is such a patient, wonderfully nice man. I asked a million and one questions and he answered them with a kind heart. He gave me all of the information that I needed and the second we hung up I called my hubs. We weighed all of the pros and cons of letting it heal on it's own vs. surgery and we have decided to go forth with surgery. It will give her elbow the best chance to heal properly and lower the chances of more serious problems with it in the future. I will be bringing her in at 7:30am in the morning. It has happened so quickly that I won't have too long to let my mind run and dwell on all of the what-ifs.

Thank you YT for all of your support and encouragement please keep little Pita in your prayers through her surgery tomorrow. Looks like she will be getting a brand new elbow for her 1st birthday(the 17th), can't wait until she gets to test it out...I sure do miss her running 80mph laps around the living room....sigh.
