Sophie was under constant surveillance as a puppy and still would chew wood if we turned our head for even a second. Woodwork, wood table legs and basically anything she could get her little mouth around. We would scold her and give her a chew toy. Sprays never worked on Sophie. She seemed to like the taste.
The good news is by the time she turned 1 it suddenly stopped. Good Luck.
