Bella is bright-eyed and bushy tailed this morning, and did fine (normal) throughout the night.
She has poopied three times since that drop was found, and none of them after that have had the blood drop.
However, since the responses are somewhat mixed in suggestions, and since I really don't know many people here yet, we've decided to follow both suggestions.
Bella is going in today for the last in her series of shots. During that time I'm going to be pretty adamant about these blood drops that have happened, and that they do something to test for any *possible* reasons.
I do trust my vet. He's been our vet for a number of years now and has never steered us in the wrong direction. I am going to ask for every test under the sun to rule out any GI tract problems, and I want another Parvo test done and I have decided I want her to have a titer test for that too. Am I going overboard? Yes, probably...but I'd rather go overboard than have to bury my puppy because we did nothing.
That being said, we've also made an appointment with another veterinary clinic on the other end of town. The appt is this coming Monday; I'll get another opinion and exam for her from there as well.
Hubby thinks I'm going overboard...but we have petpurses for a reason; to use them.
