The gums bleeding may or may not be a sign of concern. Teddy's gums were bleeding a little and I was worried and had my vet take a look. They suggested that I continue to brush the area with a soft toothbrush. As the gums were stimulated they did not bleed anymore. If it continues I'd talk to your vet. We also use CET products - we like vanilla mint, poultry or malt flavors. We brush a couple of times a week, but every day is best!
