As stated before, I'm sure the quality of the individual trainer will make a big difference. My four month year old yorkie recently completed Puppy Level 1 at Petco, and overall it was a good experience but it wasn't amazing. Good chance for socialization and basic obedience learning, but I didn't think each technique was practiced enough in class. Also, with so many people in the public coming and going, the class can become a bit disorganized and invaded.
Bottom line: I thought it was a good place to begin, but don't expect great things. |
