She was at my parents last week & they said she pooped on the floor 3 or 4 times.  Well she was there today for a bit & when I got there I noticed her sniffing my sister's dog's pad so I thought she might pee. She then walked to the back door that leads to the fenced yard & "asked" to go out. She went out there & pooped!!!! Then about an hour later she did it again! So I think we're going to get back to outdoor training & use pads for when I'm gone. Wish us luck, we're likely to get our carpets shampooed in the next week or two & I'd love a fresh start!  |
Good luck on your fresh start! Princess sounds like my Levi. He understands the concept of potty pads, but infinitely prefers to do all of his biz outside.
I leave a pad down at all times, but he whines/cries/holds it until we go outside. Luckily, it never gets Michigan-level cold here - but we still trudge outside for potty breaks in the rain/sleet/snow.
