Princess was mostly outside potty trained this time last year. Until sub-zero temps/windchills when she'd literally be too cold to walk at all even though she normally loves the snow. So I decided to start pad training her. I finally got her to pee on the pad & poop on the bathroom floor
but never poop on the pad. Maybe once this last year. She had a complete backslide when she got pancreatitis in June/ish.
She was at my parents last week & they said she pooped on the floor 3 or 4 times.
Well she was there today for a bit & when I got there I noticed her sniffing my sister's dog's pad so I thought she might pee. She then walked to the back door that leads to the fenced yard & "asked" to go out. She went out there & pooped!!!! Then about an hour later she did it again! So I think we're going to get back to outdoor training & use pads for when I'm gone. Wish us luck, we're likely to get our carpets shampooed in the next week or two & I'd love a fresh start!
