I've not been to PetSmart training classes... I would imagine it depends on the individual trainer (in other words, another PetSmart in another state may have a completely different experience). I'd say ask for references, but I always think... who's actually gonna give you the name of someone they know wasn't happy with their experience???

Maybe ask to 'sit in' on a class without your pet to get a feel for their methods and personality??

Also, your vet might be able to recommend a training class... our vet's offices usually have flyers posted.
