All dogs are different in how much walking they can do all at once. Bella hates walking anywhere and will maybe walk 1 lap around the park (10 min walk) and then sit down and refuse to walk anymore but she loves going in her bag for walks. On the other hand Ruby absolutely loves her walks and could go for miles.
If you know your going for a long walk and your bringing your Yorkie for the first time, just bring a dog carrier just incase it's to much for your Yorkie. But if you have taken your Yorkie on long walks and they seem to handle it fine and enjoy it, don't worry about the distance because it's good for them to get the exercise.
