Welcome! What a blessing that you and your DH are making Miley a member of your family. Hope she's getting along well with your other furbaby too. I too would get whatever the previous owner has in the way of records (worst case, get the name and number of the vet they were using - any visits/vaccines/illnesses she was seen for, etc. should be on record at their office). Then get her in for a checkup 
As for her hair... it continues to grow (like human hair) but I can't tell you how long it will take to grow a full coat. I personally love Harry Barker's Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner. My girls stay in full coat (trimmed face) and I bath every two weeks - unless we're in the country with the horses and cows
. I don't have to brush daily using these products, plus they smell really nice.
Keep us posted and let us know what the vet says about her 'bumps'.
