Girl I had my DH with me after our break in and I was SCARED TO DEATH. I can't imagine being on my own with a new baby. God bless her. We should all say a little extra prayer for her.
BTW, our dog was put up while they broke in. Now he runs freely. And he will let you know when someone is here. The hair stands up on the back of his neck and he will scare you to death. And I love it. When something happens to him I will get another. Just like you said, loud and mean. Well not mean to us. Lol. So if the GSD was got after the break in, I could see her reasoning as well. And yes, I can just bet she is a nervous wreck with everything she has been through.
