I was told in the beginning they shouldn't jump off of what they can't jump onto. So right away I got steps. Now he won't dare jump. If he doesnt see the steps he will bark to get down. I had my bed on the floor for a while but decided I needed it to be up high. We lay together on the couch. I would hate to fall asleep in the bed and him try to get off when I am sleeping.
I got the steps on ebay for $30 and it was the best investment I made. Here is a pic of them. They have a thin carpet material on them so they are not slippery. |
