There really isn't much info out there. Unless you're referring to the "go do your own research" and "stop being lazy" or "get to the dog shows" advice that seems to be a recurring theme here.

True. And there aren't sites that have a comprehensive list of breeders (good or bad) by state either.

I suppose this is how puppy mills stay in business. Imagine if those same people had access to information about the reputable breeders near them. People would certainly start to make smarter decisions.
