Poor little guy. Follow up with the vet as soon as possible because the longer something festers, the worse it gets, and the more expensive. If it is stones, you risk having an emergency situation that could be fatal. Stones are very painful too.
Did your vet run any tests on your little guy? You may consider going to a specialist if you can.
