This question I find easy to answer. If you adopt a mill dog from a rescue, where does the money go? The money goes back to the rescue so they can rescue and care for more dogs that are neglected and no longer wanted. In this situation you give a dog a home, and help pay the vet bills for other needy dogs.
Where does the money go if you get a mill dog from a puppy mill? It goes back to the puppy mill to fill the pocket of the mill owners and the dam used is condemned to yet another year of living unloved as a baby making machine. In this situation, one pup finds a home, but the buyer gives the mill owner a reason to continue their operation.
If you would like to verify that, contact a rescue like yorkie haven rescue. They are a non profit yorkie rescue that can show you just where the money goes.
