I drove to TN and rescued a dog that was advertised on a FB garage sale. His hair was matted to his skin, he had fleas and he'd never been to a vet! That's a rescue! I drove almost 7 hours to get him. If you put your heart in the right place and search long and hard and you are meant to have a pet, you will find one without going straight to a puppy mill or broker.
