Why that might be true in many cases, it just doesn't make good sense to instantly assume that is the case for every website that has puppies for sale.
Actually, it is also said about the breeders that sell here on yorkie talk. Just because a breeder is a member of YT, that doesn't automatically make them reputable. I know I've said that countless times in other threads. I bought my pup from a YT member. Thinking back on it now, I was putting myself through an unesecessary interview for her, when all she wanted was for me to hit the PayPal button on her site and pay for the dog. Similar to how you would purchase some appliance, shoes, clothes, etc online. You're right, the Internet is a very powerful tool. It has resources and answers to lots of questions. But when it comes to adding a living, breathing creature to your home, the Internet falls short. It's up to the individual to sort through information, meet someone face to face, and decide for themselves if this breeder and dog is right for them. I do consider yorkie talk to be a great resource, where you can search through the archives, read about others experiences, and see if there is a lesson to be learned without having to experience the heartbreak yourself.
