We chose a boy because he was to be my "forever baby" when my last (of 4) kids started kindergarten. I read that boys get more attached to the female owner and girls get more attached to the male owner. It seems to be true because Reggie definately knows he's MY baby! He is all about hanging with my husband until he hears me come home, then he only has eyes for Mama.
At the time, I thought he was a little difficult to house train, but we got him at Christmas and he didn't like to go out into the cold or wet. I will say that once trained, he does VERY well. The only issue was the excited trickle that he took a while to learn how to control
