I was away for the weekend and I'm just seeing a lot of these replies now! Thank you so much for keeping Layla in your thoughts everyone.
We made Layla pee in a cup this morning and took the sample directly to the lab so it wouldn't be sitting around. Our vet said even though they're supposed to keep it in a fridge, that she has tested samples before and after refrigeration and it kills some of the bacteria, so she wanted us to take it directly to the lab that would be testing it, instead of just giving it to a vet and waiting for them to take it in. Anyways, hopefully we'll get a call from the vet with good news.
