In my field I can just work from home the same way I work at work so there is no reason for me to be here other than I can't call them and TELL them I'm working from home and being sick for a while has made me use up almost all my time off hours....Just boggles my mind.

I agree with you! I stay at home now, but back when I worked I hated being around sick people at work...knowing it was probably coming my way! But, I too had to go into work sick...my job didn't allow for working from home, and I think I only ever used 1 or 2 sick days.
