One of my little old ones was on the exact same drugs for the same condition.
It's the Frusemide that's the diuretic. When do you give it to her? Sometimes it helps to give it to her first thing in the morning. Other than that, I just used to get up with her a couple of times through the night to let her out.

You say the vet says she has just a few months left?
The vet told me my little one hadn't long, in fact when she first diagnosed it she told me to think of having just weeks left with her, not months. I was totally gutted as it was the first time I'd been told it was heart failure, she had only just turned 9 & had been fine up till a few weeks earlier.
Anyway, she was put on the Vetmedin & Frusemide & went on to live for another three & a half years. So don't get too downhearted yet.
Hope you get to share a lot more time with her than the vet has predicted.
