His head bobbing would make me nervous... something neurological may be going on, or he could have a very severe ear infection, or toxicity from the duck poo (if he ingested any). If my dog had those symptoms, he'd be going back to the ER vet, if my regular vet was not available.

Maybe a different vet will be on duty tonight?

I am not judging you... just the symptoms your dog is showing... they may be life threatening.
