I'm almost positive mine dreams about chasing wabbits and squirrels.
However, when she was a puppy, she had a couple of what I would term bad dreams and she made this terribly sad and mournful howl in her sleep. I gently woke her both times, because it just broke my heart. It hasn't happened since then though. I think she just has happy dreams now.
