Well honestly I'm not worried about the neighbors on either side of us being busy-bodies about it, they own pets and treat them very well. What I'm worried about is the occasional "visitor". You know...the gas man if the water heater poops out, or the electrician if the furnace has a hiccup, etc.

That, and honestly I'm just really not keen on the idea of not doing it the right way.

I really don't want to have to become a licensed breeder. A friend of mine is starting up breeding yorkies, actually, and I'm helping her with her web page. It's really teaching me that it's something I definitely don't want to do, lol.

It just wouldn't feel right to be titled a breeder by the state of MO if I'm not a breeder at all. =/

I thought for sure there would be exceptions for people who are rescuing pets from shelters and unaltered craigslist pets (to get them fixed and rehome) but I can't find anything on our gov/city page(s).
