I had a stranger ask me that when Jack was still way tiny and I was so shocked that someone would ask that I blurted out a tad over x-amount of money - which wasn't what I had paid for him but it was over the amount I told this stranger. I figure if they wanted to purchase a Yorkie, they could do some research and yes, it is personal. I don't go asking people how much they paid for their car or the home, same principal if you ask me. What I should have said to him should have been something along the lines of "more than what my husband thinks..." lol
