OK, here's probably a little bit more info about me that you NEVER wanted to know, LOL! My husband Dave and I used to be in a pretty popular rock band in VT before we moved a couple years ago. The band was together for about 8 years, and we really did have a great following. There is something pretty darn special about coming to the end of a song, hearing a breath of silence while your own heart just pounds, and then the explosion of applause from a happy and enthusiastic audience!!!
My friend Paula emailed me that a local club was having an open mic night Friday night, and my hubby Dave and I decided we would go and maybe play. Six of our friends came, and we had the biggest crowd there, lol! There may have been 30 people in the whole place. But Dave and I did a half dozen songs, and MAN it felt good!!!
I asked my friend Paula to take some pictures so that I could email them to my son, and after we left the stage she said "something happened to your camera, it went funny on me, and it took me a minute to figure it out. I think I took a video, but probably mostly of the floor!!" LOLOL So when I downloaded it this morning, this is what I found! This is a Susan Tedeschi tune. I just LOVE her!! Forgive the vocal, I am REALLY out of practise!!! The guitar my husband is playing is one he built from scratch! The man is a genius!
