I don't understand why it would be illegal to carry a stun gun. People need to be able to protect themselves and their families. Many people get permits to carry concealed weapons. Of course I believe they should have proper training before being turned loose on the world with them.
Certainly a stun gun is not as dangerous as a real gun. I guess the guy would be dead if the OP had used a real gun! It seems as though you would have had the guy arrested for attempted robbery though. He should be charged for what he did.
It's always the irresponsible persons that ruin things for everyone else. I suppose the law is because of kids and others that may go around using a taser as a toy to harass others with. |
