[Summus Animus]

Happy New Year!! May everyone's 2012 be filled with heaps of blessings and joy!!

I've been lurking around Yorkietalk.com since I brought home my first yorkie boy (that was back in October). I joined a few days ago (the day I brought home my second yorkie boy). I've been reluctant to partake in the forums because...well, I'm shy ~~
However, spending time with my two furries makes me want to share the joy with other dog lovers (especially yorkie lovers ). Plus, I love the support offered by everyone. Thank you in advance.

With that spontaneous and somewhat awkward introduction out of the way, I would like everyone to meet Apollo and Arion. Apollo will be five months old this month and Arion will be 8 weeks old in a couple of days.
When I picked up Apollo, he looked absolutely like a yorkie puppy. He looked like the perfect yorkie puppy until his first haircut. The groomer buzzed him and now he looks like a chihuahua. We thought the groomer handed us the wrong puppy. I'm not angry because it's just too funny. He's completely silvery-blue now. I do miss his black-and-tan puppy look which would have been nice to phase out gradually, but I'm not complaining because I'm going to keep Arion in puppyhood for as long as I can (evil laughter [just kidding]).
Speaking of Arion...this little dude...what can I say...is just...CUTE. It's often said that pictures are worth a thousand words, but pictures don't seem to completely capture Arion. My hubby keeps asking why we adopted a short-tailed squirrel who learned to walk in the North Korean Army. Yes, ladies and gentleman, Arion looks like a squirrel, and yes, Arion walks like the men in the North Korean Army (front legs straight out in front of him).
They really do make you laugh, don't they?
