Joey looked like that as a puppy, and it's not unusual for a silk coat to have a silvery undertone. The top of his head went completely silver and around 11 months he turned beige almost overnight and then gradually the beige became golden. The saddle had black but it looked like silvery roots that turned into what breeders call dark blue, it like a metallic black or gunmetal. He has no silver on him at 5 years.
