Maybe I'm just reading what I want to into the article...but it states is was lowered from a crime in the 3rd degree to a lesser crime in the 4th degree......I take that to mean...we don't want you to use a taser....but if you do...we'll just slap you on the wrist....ie: protect yourself!
Tasers are illegal as self-defense weapons here in Michigan too....but it doesn't mean people don't have them (or use them....)
