I think it is better to wait until at least 6 months to get her spayed and your vet is very right about the teeth and baby teeth that haven't fallen out need to be pulled or it can cause problems. Is the vet where you would be leaving your male dog have someone who stays over night with the animals? If not I would very much not feel comfortable leaving him there over night. Also don't forget to get blood work before any surgery.
