Someone did do a survey about which do you prefer the spray or gel, and only a couple of people said the spray, so I hate to recommend it without the information that most people here like the gel. I just lift their lip and give a quick spray on each side of the mouth. With the gel, you have to squeeze some in your hand, and I never get the right amount and then rub it on their teeth, and then you have a blob of gel in you hand.
