Yes, as you guessed, you will need to brush both of your little one's teeth. It is good to start out when they are puppies. They may not always like it, but they will be used to having them brushed as much as they can be used to something like that. All of the sprays in the world will not remove tartar without brushing as well. That is just my opinion though. It may help with the breath issue. I have used both the Petzlife gel for brushing and the spray. In fact, I do still have some. I can't use the gel anymore. It makes mine spit up.
