What would be the best brand/type food for her? I know its going to be trial and error but we want her on dog food. |
Potatoes and chicken are not a complete and balanced diet. Your dog is probably malnourished, dogs need way more calcium than a human does, so if you feed human foods you need to supplement with vitamins and minerals. I feed Joey RC and he loves it, it's made for finicky Yorkies, but if they are use to eating human foods, they will probably put up a fuss. I would put out a bowl for 20 minutes, and then take it away, 12 hours later I would put out another bowl, and do not feed any snacks in the meantime. Usually, all it takes is 12-24 hours to get them to eat the food. Your dog will not starve himself; he will eat when he’s hungry. Anyway, someone else can help you with the best canned food question.
