This is how I determine supplementing my kids. Put all the kids on the scale and weigh them. Add up the total weight of the group. Divide that number by the number of puppies. here is the example 4 oz, 7 oz, 7oz and 6 oz.
the total weight for the four is 24 ounces. I divide that by 4 (number of babies which is 6 ounces. Anyone under that 6 ounces is not getting enough to eat and needs help. I have done this for 30 years and works well.
