Well...I have 2 thoughts. My Dori, a Biewer, started out black, white and tan. Now, at 18 months old, she is like a ghost pup...silver, turning to white with a little tan. Our silkies were typically tan and blue/black, but we knew some beauties who were almost blonde. IMO, unless you have a show dog, love 'em as they are.
