I feel so stupid - I never knew that the Amish did this, NO IDEA. Of course, I've always looked pretty locally for my dogs.

What is flooring me is you always hear about the Amish being so God fearing and good, etc. I guess that doesn't apply to the animals they care for?

Like I said, reading this thread makes me feel VERY uneducated because I had NO clue this was going on.
