Got him to the vet and he had a thorough check. Romeo's temp was slightly elevated so I requested complete blood work. Everything came back normal except Romeo was dehydrated (little guy had not eaten or drank since 10pm last night). Vet hydrated him and asked that I bring him back in the morning for more fluids and then we will do follow up blood work next Tuesday.

In the meantime I followed the vet's instructions -- added some Gatorade to Romeo's water (5% to 95%) and fed him some boiled chicken and brown rice. I am so happy that Romeo cleaned his dinner plate and is drinking lots of water.

Thanks everyone for your support and prayers. I was so worried and scared today...I'll give another update tomorrow after Romeo's had more fluids at the vet.
