My Mr. Perkins is a no kill shelter dog. I had lost my chow/akita mix after 11 years with him. It hurt so bad that I vowed not to get another dog until I retired and then it would be a lap dog. 1 - 1/2 years later my friend told me to go to page 2 on the shelter site. There he was!!! I went to see him on my lunch hour and brought him back to my office that afternoon. It was love at first sight. They told me he was 4, then changed it to 2 but my vet said he thinks he's closer to 8. No matter I love him to pieces.
